Our Story

Why We Created This

We started noticing something consistent: smart people with good jobs were stressed about money. Not because they weren’t earning enough, but because they didn’t have a system. Back in 2019 , a group of us in Causeway Bay got together to figure out what was missing. We realized the financial courses available weren’t designed for Hong Kong’s specific challenges — the high rent, the property market pressure, the cost of living that keeps rising.

Over the next couple of years, we tested different approaches. We tracked our own spending, tried various budgeting methods, and talked to dozens of households about what actually worked. By 2021 , we’d narrowed it down: people needed something practical, honest, and designed for their actual situation. Not generic advice. Not get-rich-quick schemes. Just solid financial management.

In 2022 , we started sharing what we’d learned. First with friends, then with their friends. The feedback was consistent: “Why doesn’t this exist everywhere?” That’s when we decided to formalize it. We created structured guides, tested them with real households, and refined based on what worked. Today , we’re focused on helping Causeway Bay households — and beyond — develop the financial habits that actually stick.
